My problem with symmetry

If only the human face was just one sided it would be so much easier. Here's the face I'm working on with the left side(as you face it) roughed in to my liking. Now the task is to get the other side to match. Easier said then done.

Here I have photo shopped the face perfectly symmetrical, the goal. Now back to work.

  1. It must be so difficult to achieve this! If only it was as simple as photoshop.

  2. It's that almost unattainable thing, isn't it, that balance between symmetry and imperfection. Too perfect, and it doesn't look real, too imperfect and it doesn't seem right. (Right?!) Hardest thing in the world, but you always seem to find that balance!
